What you'll taste
You taste rums from different regions and of different ages, from fresh white rum to rich, cask-aged sipping rum. The connoisseur talks about origin, production and maturation, so you taste where the differences come from: from tropical notes to vanilla, caramel and oak.

How long does the rum tasting last?
Expect one and a half to two hours. You taste different rums side by side at your ease, with explanations from the connoisseur about origin and maturation. The precise duration depends on the group.
How many different rums do I taste?
Usually you taste four to six rums, from light to aged. Each comes with an explanation, so you learn to recognise the styles and origins and discover which rum is your favourite.
Can I do this with a group?
Absolutely. The rum tasting is ideal with a group, for example for a birthday or company outing. For larger parties you can hire the bar. Get in touch with your group size for a tailored proposal.
Do I need to reserve in advance?
Yes, we work strictly by reservation. After booking, you’ll receive the password and the location in Rotterdam, so everything is ready for you when you arrive.
